Lead, Technology Risk AnalystJob Title: Lead, Technology Risk Management

Overview: The Mastercard Technology Risk Team is looking for a Lead, Technology Risk to support and build our strategy for assurance requirements for our mergers and acquisitions to meet customer and regulatory obligations for Mastercard. Individual will be responsible for the development of strategic plans and the identification of strengths and weaknesses in how obligations are managed for acquisitions. This includes formulating, implementing and evaluating business plans related to acquisitions. Focus will be on developing and implementing a risk strategy for managing assurance obligations for Mastercard acquisitions.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to think and act both strategically and tactically while enabling the business to remain compliant with required security, technology, and financial standards, as well as industry best practices in support of acquired companies.

 Assists in the development of strategy, objectives and action plans for M&A assurance obligations
 Conducts special, ad-hoc studies for to aid leadership in developing and/or framing their solutions
 Participates and attends leadership meetings, may participates in senior level discussions
 Plan and manage multiple initiatives, projects or activities in a coordinated way from inception through successful delivery
 Completion of milestones and scalability of mechanisms to provide clarity and achieve desired outcomes with dependent teams
 Deep understanding of the business domain and objectives in order to shape successful execution plans
 Relentless focus on our customers, as we drive solutions and positive impact
 Work across multiple teams (may be cross-cutting across programs, business/engineering teams, and/or technologies or work may be vertically focused on a single program within a domain) to drive strategy alignment and partnership against complex objectives
 Align dependent organizations to accomplish objectives
 Work directly with internal and external to Mastercard technology providers and customers
 Work with limited guidance, seeking guidance as needed because the program outcomes are defined but the execution plan is not
 Deep understanding of the business and technical requirements for the initiatives that you are managing
 Understand the needs of key players- the consumer, user and customer for long term solutions
 Recognize complexity within the program and propose simplified solutions
 Help stakeholders and consumers make trade-off decisions by considering all of the data including business goals, technical platform strategy, customer experience and maintainability through relentless focus on our customer
 You identify blocking issues and manage their resolution
 Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels
 Identify, collect, synthesize and communicate risks and blockers in a concise, accurate, and professional manner for senior leadership to ensure alignment based on evolving priorities
 Accurately reports progress, status anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, identify, assess, track and mitigate issues/risks at multiple levels
 Work across teams to measurably improve, streamline, and/or eliminate excess processes into simple straight forward solutions
 Regularly define and review key success metrics for data-focused tracking and proactively seek out new and improved mechanisms for visibility ensuring your program stays aligned with organization objectives

About You:
 Demonstrated ability to operate with independence and autonomy
 Proven leadership with a team and across an organization
 Experience with control frameworks (e.g., SOC2, ISAE3402/3000, ISO27001, GDPR)
 Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience/Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or related field preferred
 Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills necessary for interaction with business leaders and teams across all levels of the organization
 Professional certification like CISSP/CISA/CRISC/CIPP or similar, a plus
 Contribute to work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and the development of skills to engage with those of other cultures and backgrounds
 The ability to push back and challenge decisions
 Strong negotiation and consensus building skills
 Familiarity with the financial services industry and payment processing industry, a plus
