Administrative Director of Trauma Services
Medical City Dallas
Responsible for the strategic oversight of the Adult and Pediatric Trauma programs at Medical City Dallas, Medical City Heart and Spine Hospitals, and Medical City Children's Hospital. Responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating and directing all functions of the department(s) in order to support the stated mission, vision and values of Medical City Dallas and the philosophy of the Department of Nursing and promote, advocate and support the nursing staff's primary commitment to protect the health, safety and rights of the individual, family or community. The Director will be responsible for the implementation and management of the Adult Trauma Program, fully accredited by the American College of Surgeons. The Director will be responsible to operate the department, continue the improvement of the department's processes and outcomes, comply with hospital and corporate policy and procedures, efficiently manage finances and resources, promote teamwork and customer satisfaction, and integrate the department services into the organization's overall plan for delivery of care and service.

- Master's degree in Nursing or related field or other appropriate post Graduate degree.
- 10 years of nursing experience
- 5 years' experience in management, preferable in a hospital setting with experience to include management of personnel, payroll, budgets, capital, business planning, marketing, and physician relations
- Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
- Current American Heart Association BLS provider.
- Certification in specialty area within 6 months
