Reporting to the AVP of Operations, the Director EVS directs and manages the Environmental/Linen services daily operations within the hospital and assigned campus locations, providing a consistently clean, sanitary environment throughout the hospital while ensuring that State, Local, Federal and Joint Commission regulations and standards of performance are met. Responsibilities include:
- Direct and manage all Linen/Laundry operations by overseeing distribution systems and linen purchases
- Oversee and responsible for the daily monitoring and quality control measures of all cleaning activity throughout the organization
- Oversee and responsible for the staffing and scheduling of personnel to ensure appropriate staffing to handle work volume/patient activity
- High school diploma or GED required; College degree preferred
- Certification through IEHA or ASHES preferred
- Minimum one year of experience in Health Care Environmental Services Management required
- Preferably 3-5 years' relevant acute hospital experience
