Mercy Primary Care is seeking a Director of Operations to join our team

Overview:
- Directs and integrates the implementation and evaluation of clinical and practice operations within the Mercy Clinic.
- Ensures the effective and efficient daily operations of all Mercy Clinic locations by: Interviewing, training, supervising and evaluating assigned personnel.
- Making recommendations regarding employment, performance appraisals, salary changes, promotions, transfers and terminations.
- Ensuring problems regarding equipment, communications and support systems are resolved.
- Developing and implementing operational systems.
- Ensuring proper patient and physician flow and implementing improvements as necessary. Establishing departmental goals, policies, procedures and standards; advising affected employees of changes.
- Upholds and works with or through the VP of Operations to ensure departmental compliance with applicable local, state, national, Oklahoma Department of Health, and hospital and departmental standards and requirements.
- Evaluating workload projections and ensuring work schedules that provide for optimal patient care and operational efficiency.
- Continuously evaluating customer satisfaction and ensuring resolution of patient complaints at all locations.
- Will conduct Mercy Clinic Leadership Meetings as assigned by VP Clinical Operations. Assisting Mercy Clinic Finance Team with the preparation of an annual operating and capital budget in collaboration with appropriate personnel.
- Preparing reports, spreadsheets and written financial analyses as requested by VP of Clinical Operations and/or physicians.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor Degree in Business, Healthcare or related field or equivalent experience. (i.e. Nursing or other Health Profession)
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in health administration, preferably with a large integrated health system including two (2) years of experience in a clinic environment.
- Other: Excellent interpersonal skills required along with experience in working with multi-disciplinary groups.
- Preferred Education: Masters Degree
