Overview:

 

Under very little supervision, manage workflow within respective work group and coordinate work tasks among co-workers as needed. Schedule work load, monitor work performance and work progress as assigned by Manager. Perform tasks assigned that require a variety of skills. During periods that the Manager is absent, perform any of the Manager's duties as directed in a manner consistent with Mercy mission, values, and Mercy service standards.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum Required Qualifications

    Education:

    High school diploma or equivalent.

    Licensure:

    Current Missouri Drivers License. Licensure specific to discipline.

    Experience:

    3 to 5 years of practical experience.

    Certification/Registration:

    As Required for specific discipline.

    Other Skills and Knowledge:

    Knowledge of maintenance activities in a Hospital setting.

    Basic skills in using most hand tools and some power tools.

    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.

    Must be able to operate and understand test and calibration equipment where needed.

    Must be able to train maintenance co-workers as needed.

    Good communication skills are a must.

    Should be able to perform a variety of talks in the maintenance area.

    Requires diverse skill set and experience to perform PM's and repairs on multiple system types.

    Working conditions, mental and physical requirement: Lifting up to 50 lbs, ladder climbing, stooping, bending, and reaching.

    Operate forklift, pallet jack, single or multiple person man lift up to 25 feet in the air.

     

    Preferred Qualifications

    Education:

    Management courses helpful.
