This is a full time Registered Behavior Tech position with Mercy Kids. Position located at the Mid Rivers location. Full time - 36 hours per week. No weekends or holidays.

Under the general direction of the assigned BCBA, BCaBA, and/or certified ESDM therapist, the Registered Behavior Tech will provide clinical instruction and behavior reduction principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to children with autism and other related disorders, as well as assist in the development of materials to enhance the patient's learning experience. The RBT will communicate with their assigned patient's family to share progress as it occurs to promote continuity of implementation of intervention strategies. The RBT will maintain regular communication with their assigned BCBA, BCaBA, and/or certified ESDM therapist. Essential components of this position are listed below but are subject to change at the discretion of Mercy Kids Autism Therapy Services and Mercy Kids Autism Center. This job description describes essential job functions but does not provide an exhaustive list of duties that may be assigned.
- Minimum of 15 hours of higher education coursework
- Registered Behavior Technician certificate from the BACB
- NPI number for Behavior Technician
- At least 6 months of documented experience as an RBT
- Knowledge of child development
- At least 1 year of experience working with children with a diagnosis of autism
- Bachelor's in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Speech and Hearing Services, or related field
- Experience with Verbal Behavior and Natural Environment Teaching
