Description

We're looking for motivated and engaged Environmental Technicians that are ready to be part of a vibrant and fast-paced culture. Our Environmental team focuses on environmental compliance and permitting, industrial hygiene, natural resources, and remediation services. As we continue to grow so too does our need for extra resources and as such we are looking for an Environmental Technician.  Responsibilities:

• Provide field documentation
• Assist with the collection of air monitoring, sampling, and calibration activities
• Assist with the collection of soil, water, sediment samples
• Assist with the preparation of technical reports  
• Communicate with subcontractors
• Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects
• Participate in pre-task planning
• Report any safety issues or concerns to management
• Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects
• Perform site visits, field observations and field data collection or assignments

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow directions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Willing to work outdoors in a variety of field conditions
• Flexible to work outside of normal business hours as required 
• Willingness to travel
• 40-hr OSHA trained 
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
• Prior skills/experience such field sampling, contractor oversight, GIS, or licensure a plus
