Responsible for leading the Medical Economics department's pharmacy analytics. Develop and implement pharmacy analytics approach across the organization. Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement pharmacy Scorable Action Items (SAI) governance process that moves through ideation, analysis, pharmacy review, approval process, forecasting, implementation, and monitoring. Identify opportunities to improve the Pharmacy departments financials and data management.
Lead staff in SAI analysis, KPI reporting and tracking for pharmacy costs
Collaborate closely with Pharmacy department to manage financials, pricing assumptions with actuary, data management priorities and Pharmacy SAIs
Implement tracking tool for trend mitigation items being worked between Pharmacy department, Health Plan and Shared Services (Tools and Technology)
Standardization of pharmacy trend drill down process.
Lead staff in vendor proposal review and performance review in support of vendor management team. Consult with Shared service partners on program improvement efforts and tracking.
Performs consistent follow up on issues and opportunities identified.
Primary point of contact between MedEcon and Pharmacy Department.
Create executive summaries for support of MOR, QBR, Analyst calls, Planning/Budget/Pricing and forecasts for the Pharmacy team.
Lead a team to implement Clinical Categorization Prevalence views.
Experience in a leadership position in healthcare economics, preferably with complex organizations.
Strong communication and persuasion skills, both with people higher and lower on a corporate hierarchy.
Stay abreast of professional developments and industry trends.
7 Years and experience in complex managed care or other health care organizations.
