Senior Project Engineer in our Unique Toblerone Factory

Purpose of Role:

  • Provides Integrated Supply Change (ISC) feasibility perspectives for projects mainly for growth, productivity and infrastructure. Identifies the capital and capital related expenses, optimum layout, equipment and phasing over time to meet the project objectives

  • Manages communications interface and project governance within ISC and key stakeholders

  • Coordinates a cross functional project team at plant level
  • Ensures successful execution of the projects in accordance with Integrated Lean 6 Sigma (IL6S) by leveraging Innovation Initiative Management (IIM) principles

  • Identifies cost effective, high savings productivity solutions and develops project to improve performance, product quality, safety and sustainability, yield and manufacturing cycle times

    Leads every key critical step of successful engineering project management:
  • Design phase (e.g. Risk analysis, design Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA))

  • Implementation phase (e.g. Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT))

  • Start-up (e.g. Commissioning, Qualification and Verification (CQV) planning, Vertical Start-up (VSU) assessments) and successfully handover to the plant



  • University Degree or equivalent further education qualification in relevant discipline.

  • 6+ years of Project Management experience is required
  • Proven project management skills required
  • Fluency with computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, project management software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP).

  • Up to 40% travel requirement
  • Qualified in IL6S with focus on IIM is required
  • Flexibility in working location within the Cluster
