The Manager of Intermediate Care ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

Education & Experience:
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma Required
• Master's Degree in Nursing Preferred
• 2+ years experience in healthcare Required
• 1+ years experience in a leadership role Required
• Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Licensure, Certifications, Training: Credentials:
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Nationally recognized nursing certification -12 Months - New hire/transfer must obtain within specified time frame. Required to work under credentialed RN until training certification obtained.
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing or related field -Within two years of hire / promotion
