Description

According to prescribed policies and procedures of the organization including all applicable state, federal and accreditation regulations and under the general supervision of the Transportation Director, assumes responsibility for the overall coordination of human service and general public transportation services including development and administration of new programs to support coordinated transportation.



Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
 Assure the completion and timely submittal of all local, state, and federal grant reports in coordination and transportation
 Provide support with preparing the 5310 Enhanced mobility for seniors and people with disabilities grant from ODOT Office of Transit
 Facilitate regular meetings with transportation providers in order to develop collaborative strategies to improve regional mobility
 Identify short and long term planning needs and develop programs to implement planning efforts
 Respond to questions and inquiries from governing authority and key stakeholders regarding transportation
 Monitor budget expenditures and take appropriate actions to modify services so that budgets are not exceeded
 Attend local interest group meetings to explain Belmont County transportation services and develop and implement other marketing and community awareness programs designed to increase a positive consumer awareness of transportation services
 Oversee annual customer satisfaction survey and provide a report to the governing authority and key stakeholders
 Responsible for partnerships in grants or conferences to coordinate transportation into other stakeholders visions
 Attend conferences to educate and network with other professional to gain knowledge of programs to enhance mobility managements activities
 Responsible for the Coordinated Plan in Belmont County and all updates, amendments and meetings that are included in the plan
 Responsible for collecting data from the primary transportation providers in the county and prepare reports of the data collected for trends or gaps in service.
 Provide information, referrals, list of transportation providers, and education to any county resident on transportation services.
 Teach the DRIVE program to new drivers of the primary transportation stakeholders in the county
 Engage the general public at speaking engagements with clubs and meetings in our county
 Responsible for printed material of all options of transportation in the county for distribution

EXPECTATIONS
 Demonstrates and maintains a positive, professional manner, manages time efficiently and effectively, provides leadership as a role model to promote a team approach, collaborates and participates in policy creation and appropriate problem solving methods.
 Must adhere to all policies, procedures, terms and conditions set forth in the National Church Residences' Employee Information Guide (EIG), the Code of Conduct, as well as any facility handbook, including but not limited to, corporate compliance, drug free workplace, safe work practices, all federal, state, local regulations and laws.
 With respect to Resident Rights, ensures all care is provided with respect and dignity for the residents/clients, their families and the staff. Reports all complaints made by residents/clients and/or families to the appropriate supervisors, reports all allegations of abuse, misappropriation of funds/resident property and/or any other corporate compliance, drug free workplace, safe work practices, all federal, state and local regulations and laws.
 Completes all annual education requirements timely, including but not limited to Compliance, Privacy, Security and HIPAA training and exhibits behavior as set forth by the Code of Conduct in the performance of their duties.
 Performs other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma required. Associate's degree in business, public administration,
social work, non-profit management, communication, marketing, or related field preferred.
Experience: 2-3 years' work experience in government or non-profit agency, business operations and/or marketing required. Customer service and grant writing experience preferred.
Mental: Must have good communication, comprehension, computer and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to speak, read, write and understand English
Skills: Analytical and presentation skills required. Must be a self-starter.
