The Robert Half Healthcare Practice has multiple immediate openings with a growing Healthcare Provider! We are so excited to partner with this innovative and well-respected speciality firm to help them secure the newest members of their team for multiple open spots at various locations in and around the Indianapolis, Indiana, area! The full-time Medical Front Desk Specialists will work a weekly schedule of up to 40 hours weekly. These open roles are for a talented Medical Front Office Specialists who are looking to grow their career. The Medical Front Office Specialist will manage the lobby area and provide positive first impressions along with welcoming guests. We are looking for positive self-starters who are eager to thrive in a dynamic environment and are deeply passionate about providing high quality administrative support. Are you comfortable with managing multiple tasks at the same time? Then we have the Medical Front Office Specialist position for you. As the Front Office Specialist, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: personable, energetic, and welcoming greetings of patients in person and by telephone, collecting accurate patient information for medical electronic charting by answering multiple phone lines, voice messages, electronic appt. requests, faxes, etc., scheduling patient appointments, surgeries, lab testing, etc., entering demographics, verifying insurance coverage and pre-authorization requirements, checking patients in and out, collecting money, ordering and stocking supplies and equipment, and assuring a happy, clean, orderly and functioning work environment. Requirements

The requirements of the Medical Front Office Specialist role include, but are not limited to: basic office equipment experience, excellent written, verbal and social communication skills, excellent telephone etiquette and keyboard skills, exceptional organizational and time management skills, accurate data entry, math and spelling skills, and ability to multitask effectively.
