Description

This position provides an overall understanding of Paycom's Benefits and Human Resources programs and processes, answers employee benefits questions and supports Benefits and Leave administration processes.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as front-line touchpoint for employee benefits concerns; escalates to Benefits Analyst or Team Lead as necessary
  • Assists and supports benefits coordinator in processing benefit enrollments and changes
  • Assists in benefits reconciliations and administration processes
  • Assists Benefits Analyst in the coordination of open enrollment processes
  • Delivers presentations of benefits information to new hires, individuals and groups of employees regarding benefits as needed
  • Partners with Employee Services to coordinate vendors as necessary for Wellness fairs
  • Responds to reference checks and employment verifications as needed
  • Assists in audits, including 401K, to ensure proper payroll deductions to fund voluntary and involuntary benefits
  • Provides information about the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to HR Business partners and employees
  • Responds to Ask Here questions and eFaxes concerning benefits matters
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Education/Certification:     

  • Bachelor's degree

Experience Required:

  • 2-4 years of professional office experience, preferably in Human Resources
  • 1+ years supporting HR leadership

 

Skills/Abilities:       

  • Strong customer-service and employee experience orientation
  • Ability to ensure confidentiality and professionalism is maintained when dealing with sensitive / confidential information
  • Ability to receive and accept direction and instruction in a cooperative and collaborative manner
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as within a team with a high level of professionalism, personal integrity, and dependability
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, with proven ability to assess competing priorities in a high energy, fast paced environment
  • Excellent proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint); willingness and ability to learn additional applications as needed
  • Willingness and ability to assist HR team members, regardless of functional area
