Penobscot Community Health Care: is a non-profit organization governed by a board of community volunteers. PCHC is comprised of sixteen practices and program service sites in the Greater Bangor area, in Old Town, Belfast and Jackman. We offer a wide range of services including family medicine, dental, pediatrics, geriatrics, mental health and substance abuse, specialty services, pharmacy and both shelter and healthcare for the homeless. Helen Hunt Health Center is housed in a beautifully renovated, spacious 3-story 1903 brick school house rich with local history. A well-loved landmark that has been lovingly restored, the Helen Hunt building serves as a focal point for community health services just as it did for education over 100 years ago when it was a school serving local 4th and 5th grade students!
