Hours: This position is primarily a first shift position Monday through Friday that may include occasional evenings until 6:00 PM and possibly an occasional evening until 8:00 PM with Saturday mornings on a rotational basis (approximately one every 2 months). The main breast imaging location for work will be the Mukwonago location however cross training at other sites is required in order to provide technical coverage at all locations. The other possible locations are Pewaukee, Oconomowoc and New Berlin, Brookfield and Waukesha Delafield St. location.
Full Time / Part Time: Pool/As Needed - no Benefits
Performs quality screening and diagnostic mammograms following the ACR guidelines, as well as clinical breast exams. Performs additional breast imaging procedures as needed such as: galactograms and needle localizations. Performs other duties as needed to help the center operate efficiently.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Radiologic Tech (WI License) and AART registration in Radiology and Mammography.
- BLS (CPR) Certification.
- Maintains all necessary continuing education requirements for FDA compliance and ARRT.
- Requires at least the following experience:
- 40 hrs of initial mammography training or experience to satisfy FDA requirements.
- Completion of 25 supervised mammography procedures.
- Sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology.
- Meets all necessary competencies within 6 months of hire.
- Available to work the schedule and location needs of the position.
