1. Promote safety to all team members, customers, and suppliers. 2. Operate PC-based software programs, including but not limited to: Microsoft Word and Excel. 3. Assist in the training of operators in the use of gages. Verify that operators are using gages and checking tools properly. 4. Assist in training new Quality employees in all aspects of Quality inspections and document training. 5. Conduct sort and rework of suspect material following sort and rework instructions and documenting results. 6. Monitor floor to ensure product is produced to customer specification. 7. Ensure operators are following inspection criteria and documenting inspections in a timely manner. 8. Perform first-piece inspection; sign off on first-piece inspection and identity part. 9. Conduct last-piece inspection and provide identification on the part itself. 10. Help to establish breakpoint for non-conforming material. 11. Use of work instructions and understanding of dimension tolerances. 12. Completion and filing of quality paperwork. 13. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. 14. Understanding of customer issues and assisting in Quality alert communication and adherence.
