The Controller position is a full-time opportunity in the Naples, Florida region. You might be a good fit for this position if you can plan and direct all accounting operational functions, handle the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluate accounting and internal control systems, and lead departmental staff. How you will make an impact - Analyze, apply and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies - Complete month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, reconcile accounts, and handle G/L analysis - Drive the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to ensure the timely cash collection - Reviews deliverables of self and team to ensure that they meet client expectations - Each month, present executive committee and partners with financial reports - Manage the production of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts - Manage daily cash and prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals - Collaborate with executive team and partners to support efficient and effective firm-wide operation - Support Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, with research, planning, and implementation, as required - Capable of handling responsibilities beyond formal job duties - Lead the operations of the finance department which includes accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll
