Position: Manager of Mergers and Acquisitions Reports to: VP of Corporate Development Description of Duties: New Business Development for Acquisitions: o Maintaining regular contact with target companies o Screening target deals for potential acquisition opportunities o Preparing draft pro formas for likely candidates for internal review o Tracking all deals in process and reporting progress to senior management Acquisitions Analysis and Presentation: o Preparing summary level financial operating projections based on historical statements and market data reports o Preparing detailed financial projections as necessary o Creating basic underwriting models (to determine IRR and Profits) o Writing Deal Memos for presentation to potential investment partners o Participation in presentation of deals to potential investment partners o Working with lenders on debt placement as necessary New Business Team Support: o Preparing pro formas for new management contracts or development pitches o Writing market assessments, property profiles or other pitch materials o Any other related projects as requested Skills/Background Required: 5-10+ years of experience with complex financial modeling / M&A Mergers experience is a must; Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel Strong in both verbal and written communication Please email your resume to Chris.Willhite@Roberthalf.com or you can call Chris Willhite at 972-789-9590.
