SEC Reporting Analyst

A publicly traded company in Harrisburg is looking for a solid SEC Reporting Analyst for a short-term 3 to 5 month contract position. The SEC Reporting Analyst will be responsible for SEC reporting, consolidations support and footnotes tie-outs.

Responsibilities of SEC Reporting Analyst

  • Preparing/coordinating work papers to support information in SEC Filings, including Non-GAAP measures;
  • Reviewing press releases and scripts for consistency with SEC filings;
  • Preparing quarterly reporting calendar, coordinating with auditors on financial reporting workpapers, as well as tracking management comments/certifications, etc. ;
  • Preparing financial statement tie outs;
  • Reviewing US GAAP disclosure requirements for current results each quarter; and,
  • Assist with peer reviews for best practices and new disclosures to implement into required SEC filings.

  • Requirements

    Skills/Qualifications of SEC Reporting Analyst

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or equivalent degree and/or experience
  • 3 to 5 years experience in SEC and audit
  • Experience with Excel
  • Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
