Description

IT Manager Position Description: In search for a hands on IT Manager. This person will be responsible for the implementation, administration, support, training, maintenance of various business systems and other IT project execution. The role also includes researching opportunities for improvement within the organization and recommending procedural changes and new technologies. This person will provide day-to-day user support and IT system/software management. Develop new and innovative approaches to automating and integrating systems and processes. Interface with diverse users and senior management. Assist with business requirements gathering and cost analysis and coordinate with internal business departments and consultants.

Requirements

Essential Responsibilities: Maintaining and administering the configuration of various business systems including Vista by Viewpoint ERP Software in addition to other software packages. Developing and maintaining transactional and business intelligence reports utilizing Crystal, SSRS and other packages Implement technology initiatives utilizing mobile devices Assist with integration of 3rd party software packages Investigating and responding to requests for technical assistance (1) by phone or email, (2) using remote support tools, and (3) in person. Conducting individual or group trainings of business systems on a regular basis. Contributing to the planning and organization of the Information Technology Group by recognizing opportunities for improvement within the organization and recommending procedural changes and new technologies Managing the deployment of updates to the business systems, including patch application to a staging environment, system testing, patch certification, change communication, and deployment to production. Creating and updating business system training materials and related documentation. Configure computers, tablets and other equipment as needed to support employee needs in local and remote offices Qualifications/skills required: Bachelor's degree (required) or MA or Microsoft degree (is a plus but not required) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System. At least three (3) years of recent detail oriented experience working with SQL Server Databases, Stored Procedures, Functions and Jobs; SQL Server Reporting Services; and SQL Server Integration Services. Experience developing basic software solutions involving integrations with third-party APIs, interoperating and interfacing with a diverse system and relational database platforms. Exhibits personal motivation, initiative, potential for growth and a passion for continuous improvement Experience with software integration and implementation. The ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks and projects. Experience with Windows Server and Windows 7-10, Microsoft Office 365, Crystal Reports, Viewpoint is a plus but not required. Experience with mobile device management (iOS and Android) preferred. Write and implement custom reports to be used by management for review of ongoing operations. Some travel to job sites required to facilitate process improvements that require employee specific training.
