Perform, record and report laboratory tests accurately and in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner. Operate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment. Perform and document quality control and equipment maintenanceprocedures. Reports to the pathologists, laboratory director and laboratory supervisors.
BS degree in Medical Technology or a related biological or chemical science required.2 years prior experience in a hospital clinical laboratory preferred. Experience packing and shipping infectious substances preferred. MT (ASCP) or equivalent.
PD days in Chemistry/Hematology. Flexible shift (7-330, 6-230, or 630-3). Every third weekend in Chemistry. Holiday rotation.
