SAIC Information Technology Office (ITO) is seeking a highly effective project and people leader needed to manage the Corporate Classified IT team and the environments they support. This position will manage three IT managers and have oversight of their respective Engineering, Server Administration, and Desktop Support teams that provide compliant solutions throughout the cleared environments company-wide. This position is a key contributor role and will report directly to the CIO.


Responsibilities

  • Manage a highly technical team that is responsible for the oversight of complex computing environments that make up multiple architectures and configurations
  • Oversee the activities that these teams perform to include the deployment, maintenance, support and upgrade of servers, desktop PCs, hardware, software, operating systems and distributed printers throughout the company's cleared network environment
  • Build strong relationships with Office of Security, Customer Group leaders, and program management staff; cultivate a collaborative atmosphere between ITO and these key stakeholders
  • Use Agile methodologies with IT teams
  • Lead the Change Control Board (CCB) function that ensures a high level of fidelity across all of the technical and non-technical changes within this arena
  • Ability to lead multiple, complex initiatives within a fast-paced environment and routinely negotiate with several stakeholders concurrently when priorities change; demonstrate skilled change management discipline
  • Establishment of appropriate service level agreements (SLA's) and development of processes to ensure that KPI's are met
  • Demonstrate sound business judgment with the ability to take decisive action and problem-solve
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written; able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical employees
  • Actively ensure adherence to ~$5M budget, within +/- 5% of fiscal year and quarterly targets
  • Routinely prepare written presentations and verbal reports regarding project status, cost and schedule variances
  • Assists in the development of short-, mid-, and long-term objectives to achieve strategic objectives

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Information Technology, Systems Engineering or related field or equivalent; >10 years supporting infrastructure, engineering, and/or program management activities

  • U.S. Citizen and current TS/SCI Clearance with CI Poly

  • Deep domain knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST 800-53 implementations within secure environments

  • Proven people and project manager with a track record of effectively managing large teams and/or projects with highly successful results

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced education and related certificates a plus.
