  • Perform analytical and requirements gathering work in coordination with the customer to determine the current state of software license management processes

  • Support the formation of a mature model for licensing support

  • Maintain relationships with customers, software resellers, and software manufacturers as appropriate

  • Identify redundancies or deficiencies related to Software Licensing

  • Assist in the development and updating of policies that support the management and execution of software asset management

  • Assist in the development of draft acquisition documents required for Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs), Enterprise License Agreements (ELAs), and the leveraging of other relevant procurement vehicles

  • Meet critical milestones as identified in schedules for customer deliverables

  • Aid management with any licensing and product information clarification

  • Monitor and track funds transfers and payments regarding licenses procured for Bureaus across the enterprise

  • Obtain license pricing information from vendors for additional products requested by customers

  • Provide contractual support to customers in response to questions concerning agreements, i.e., details on contract PoP, specifics on deadline for new products to be requested, all penalties and fees associated with not renewing products/licenses, deadline for submission of funds or funds transfer, extensions to submit products or funds, etc.

  • Work with Team Lead to update drafts according to feedback received from the customer

  • Provide review and quality assurance of final versions of documentation

  • Support Enterprise Licensing with document development, review, and editing

  • Support task management of Enterprise Licensing tasks

  • Engage in data collection

  • Provide technical assistance regarding vendor software licensing procedures

  • Support development and dissemination of communication material for the customer agency

  • Develop detailed and high-level reports and presentations

  • Other duties as assigned



Required Skills:


  • Must have a Secret clearance 

  • Working knowledge of Software Asset Management principles and methodologies

  • Expert level organizational, written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making abilities and attention to detail

  • Microsoft licensing and sales

  • Adobe licensing

  • SQL Server Support 

  • Analytics

  • Ability to translate general highly technical concepts in business terms

  • Understanding of cloud computing

  • Ability to update and upload to SharePoint

  • A sense of ownership about task completion

  • Ability to work with executive and expert level of personnel

  • Ability to report on progress and issues upon request

  • Ability to build excellent cooperative relationships with personnel in different offices

  • Ability to apply best practice communication techniques to documents for different audiences

  • Proficient skill in using a variety of office automation software programs such as MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Visio, SharePoint and MS Project

  • Ability to understand technical concepts and requirements

  • Ability to identify options for process improvement

  • Ability to take accurate notes during fast-paced meetings

  • Ability to work with limited supervision

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize and deliver high-quality, accurate work within targeted deadlines

  • Proficiency with e-mail programs, Internet search engine, and SharePoint is required

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Previous experience in a professional office setting is required
