Description

Maintenance Mechanic for Cosmetics Company:

• Perform regular safety inspections and implement effective corrective actions
• Conduct PPE audits, report and follow up to ensure compliance
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of safety equipment during production and performs scheduled inspections/maintenance repairs of machine guarding equipment
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to basic, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines safety guards, interlocks etc.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust
• May perform a variety of duties as needed to support campus daily operations
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
• Identify Unsafe Acts, report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
• Lead by example by always complying with Best Safe Practices and by maintaining clean and orderly work areas
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager
