Senior Payroll Tax Analyst The Senior Payroll Tax Analyst needs to have analytical skills and the ability to test functional system improvements, system updates and integrations related to payroll tax. This role is for someone who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, completely remote work environment, while balancing multiple priorities and maintaining data integrity.

This position is 100% remote and can be performed from anywhere in the U.S.

  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below.  
  •Perform testing of system tax enhancements. •Quarter and Year-End tax review and reconciliations. •Lead W2 and Year End Management. •Process W2cs and track amendment processing. •Identifies and performs tax balance adjustments. •Federal/State/Local tax notice resolution. •SUI rate management. •M&A tasks as it relates to tax data retention and tax credit recovery. •Provide tax support and guidance for Senior Payroll Coordinators. •Register Sevita with state and local jurisdictions, as needed, for payroll tax reporting and ensure tax jurisdictions are setup in Dayforce. •Researches laws and regulations regarding taxes and payroll withholding procedures, and makes recommendations for process improvements and efficiencies consistent with industry practices. •Research complex payroll tax issues/requests and provide solutions to minimize company risk and improve business practices. •Participate in a wide variety of ad-hoc reports, special projects, process improvements and analysis as necessary. •Performs other related duties or projects as required.
  Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job.  
•Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent experience. •5+ years' experience in a high volume, multi-state, multi-jurisdiction payroll tax compliance function. •Ceridian Dayforce knowledge preferred. Other Requirements: •N/A
  Physical Requirements: 1)Normal Office Work, Data Entry: Sedentary work.  Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.  Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
