Quality Assurance and Improvement Supervisor (LMFT LCSW or LPCC)

As a Quality Assurance and Improvement Supervisor (LMFT LCSW or LPCC), one of the major functions of this position will be to assure that quality review and quality indicators have a direct relationship to California MENTOR's Family Support Services core values, to the standards of best practice that exist within the community, and to the documentation requirements of our funding sources. This position is responsible for the Quality Improvement (QI), Quality Assurance (QA), Utilization Review (UR), and implementation of documentation training.

Annual Salary: $76,500 

This is a great role for:

  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - LMFT
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker - LCSW
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - LPCC 

Responsibilities:

  • Integrating agency core values into clinical program/documentation reviews
  • Developing documentation training sessions for all programs regarding Quality Improvement and Compliance (QIC) procedures, requirements, best practices, data collection, clinical documentation, and related treatment issues
  • Collaborating with the Area Director, Area Trainer, and Program Directors to develop policies, procedures, and implement systems to assist in the monitoring of program documents, assuring auditable client files
  • Attending and/or lead internal QIC meetings and external County and related meetings, disseminate relevant information to ensure continued compliance, state mandates, and other state and federal regulations and policies
  • Representing California MENTOR in external program reviews and Department of Mental Health (DMH), Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), and Family Centered Treatment Foundation (FCTF) audits, and/or Riverside Universal Health Systems (RUHS).
  • Traveling across program offices in various Service areas to complete chart reviews
  • Implementing and oversees data collection, including compliance concerning the collection of surveys and accuracy of compilation, preparation of consumer demographics, and producing summary reports on results
  • Assisting all programs with crisis management when necessary
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field
  • BBS licensed and two-years post licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC required
  • Experience with working in a community mental health setting
  • Knowledge of documentation requirements for respective funding sources, specifically Medi-Cal, DMH, RUHS
  • Knowledge of Intensive Care Coordination (ICC) and Intensive Home Based Services (IHBS)
  • Familiarity with outcome measures/assessment preferred
  • Must possess a reliable vehicle, valid CA driver's license, auto insurance and registration
