Summary:

In this role, you will provide customized health care advisory services to hospitals, health systems and other providers in support of their transition to value based payment and delivery models with a focus on the payment and policy aspect of value based care. You will interact with clients on a regular basis while managing multiple consulting engagements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage engagements across our consulting offerings focused in value based care, including enterprise value based care strategy, payer and employer strategy, alternative payment model analysis and planning, clinically integrated network (CIN) development and planning and other engagements in support of assisting healthcare systems in transitioning to a value based payment and delivery model.

  • Develop solution-based product offerings to enhance value based care strategy overall, market performance, cost and quality for the client.

  • Manage engagements including timeline/schedule; communication of project tasks and deliverables; data collection, analysis and modeling; presentation materials, and engagement of team members and clients.

  • Stay informed of business and economic developments while understanding the impact these changes have to our clients.

  • Understand service offerings across Sg2 to identify potential opportunities to bring value to our clients and leverage data and perspectives from across the company.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred. Master's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or economics a plus.

  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Experience in value based care, managed care or payer strategy business advisory with a health care provider or a consulting firm required.

  • Health care strategy consulting experience preferred, with an emphasis on value based care, payer strategy or alternative payment models.

  • Experience in Medicare alternative payment models such as accountable care organizations, bundled payments and medical home models experience required.

  • Financial volume and forecast modeling experience required; advanced Excel and other analytical tool skills required.

  • Financial modeling experience with and expertise in methodologies of shared savings, bundled payments, capitation, population-based payments and other progressive payment models preferred.

  • Experience with issues related to health care payment transformation and policy, managed care, physician alignment, physician compensation and sharing arrangements, clinical integration, etc. preferred.

  • Prior leadership experience and the ability to manage multiple projects/prioritize preferred.

  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

$114,200.00 - $169,900.00
