In this role, you will focus on the development of orthopedics Intelligence products and solutions for Sg2's members. You will demonstrate an understanding of health care trends, emerging clinical developments, and market forces that will shape the future of Orthopedics service care delivery, and help translate these factors into strategic business recommendations and resources.
Serve as subject matter expert with knowledge of trends and the changing landscape of orthopedics to help clients make sound strategic decisions and craft strategic plans for this key service line.
Lead the development of thought leadership deliverables (e.g. expert posts, briefings, publications etc.), member presentations, webinars, podcasts etc.
Work with Sg2's Service team to address client pain points related to their Orthopedics strategy via expert presentations (onsite and virtual), calls and service requests.
Translate service line knowledge and develop perspectives to inform the annual update to Sg2's analytics tools, including the Impact of Change Demand Forecasting Model and the Sg2 CARE Grouper.
Participate in Consulting engagements as a subject matter expert as needed.
Present at or participate in Sg2/Vizient members events, affinity group meetings, etc.
Relevant degree preferred. Advanced degree (MBA, MHA, Masters) a plus.
7 or more years of relevant work experience required.
Experience working in a hospital/health system, consulting firm or health care-related company focused on orthopedics, spine or related clinical area required.
Working experience with Orthopedics operations and quality improvement a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to synthesize research and interviews into healthcare strategy recommendations, frameworks and project proposals.
Proven track record of collaborating with peers across the organization on projects.
Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills-both written and verbal.
Well-developed people and client relationship skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite including ability to create documents, spreadsheets and slide decks.
Experience with Tableau a plus.
Willingness to travel.
Estimated Hiring Range:$114,200.00 - $169,900.00
