Description
Join our nursing team as an MDS Coordinator! In this role, you will be involved in the Patient Assessment Process through completion of pertinent items on the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and the accompanying Care Area Assessments (CAAs). You will also participate in developing individualized patient Care Plans, identifying the needs of the patient and projected outcomes as required by Federal and State regulations. NRMD
Qualifications:
Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing and currently licensed by the State. A Licensed Practical Nurse with MDS experience may be considered. Previous experience in a hospital, long-term facility, or other healthcare related facility is required. Prior experience completing MDSs and Care Plans is required Must be knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care; AccuMed and previous experience as an MDS Coordinator is preferred.
