SCHEDULE: Full-time

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Staff Nurse of Pre-procedural and Post-Anesthesia Care Units, as part of Peri-Operative/ Surgical Services is a clinically competent Registered Nurse in the areas of Pre-and Post-operative area, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit; working within the provisions laid down by the Nevada State Board Of Nursing, N.R.S. 449- and N.A.C


Qualifications

Education: Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing, Baccalaureate in Nursing preferred

Licensure: Licensed in State of Nevada – Registered Nurse
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in Peri-Operative Services, for either Endoscopy, Pre-& Post Operative Care unit, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. Or ICU required to qualify for consideration
Certification: ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association PALS Certification from the American Heart Association BLS Certification from the American Heart Association Moderate Sedation-in-house certification CPAN, and/or membership of ASPAN preferred
