Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • DOD Secret clearance and previous DoD experience (5+ years)
  • Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) or non-technical degree with demonstrated technical acumen
  • Demonstrated expertise using Modeling and Simulation (M&S) and/or analytic software applications (e.g. AFSIM, STORM, OneSAF, ITASE, Matlab, R, Python, etc.) to solve complex problems; Experience should include the use of Design of Experiment concepts, simulation development, model federation, and informal verification/validation of analyses
  • Ability to effectively contribute and/or provide leadership to a team developing rigorous analytic solutions to challenging questions
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and professionally address client questions and issues with senior decision makers

 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance and previous DoD experience (8+ years) strongly desired
  • Master's degree completed or enrolled in an accredited STEM Master's Program
  • Demonstrated ability in applying innovative concepts, quantitative tools, and creative data visualization methods while using programming languages to develop tools to support M&S and analyses (e.g. R, Python, C++, C#, Java, etc)
  • Previous experience with military operations analysis including the use of M&S tools and familiarity with technologies and capabilities relevant to military operations (e.g. Electronic Warfare, Directed Energy Weapons, Advanced Sensing and Communications Systems, signature reduction, etc.)


Responsibilities

Lead and support the conduct of operational and technical analysis using a variety of quantitative, qualitative, and modeling and simulation based approaches that evaluate Joint and combined military operations. Applicants will work in sync with team members to prototype, develop, and employ a variety of analytic tools and simulations that capture the performance of military systems and the employment of military forces in order to inform analysis that will guide DoD customer investment and operational planning decisions. Work will include the design, development, testing, and documentation of all assessments. Status reports and results will be developed, prepared and presented to Government stakeholders predominantly from the DoD.
