  • 10+ years of intelligence/counterintelligence experience, to include the following types and amounts of work experience:
    • 2+ years in a management role in at least one of the following areas:
      • Science and Technology
      • DoD Production Centers
      • Counterintelligence (Offensive, Analysis & Production, Intelligence or Counterintelligence to support Research Development & Acquisitions (RDA)
      • Supply Chain Risk Management
      • Advanced Persistent Threat
      • Open Source Intelligence
    • 3+ years of experience providing direct RDA support to a DoD acquisition program or direct support to a science and technology project or program
  • Basic Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities in the following areas:
    • Defense Intelligence Policy
    • Intelligence Support to Research, Development and Acquisitions
    • Production of Intelligence Collection requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct analysis linking intelligence, acquisition, engineering/technical information


Desired (e.g. Education, Certifications):

  • Undergraduate Degree in a Technical Discipline
  • Graduate Degree
  • All Source Analysis Business Intelligence experience
  • Familiarity with IC analysis and message systems (e.g. Palantir, M3, TAC)



The candidate will be responsible for conducting analysis to identify threats to critical acquisition programs and technologies. The candidate will conduct threat analysis linking intelligence, acquisition, and engineering/technical information. The analyst must be able to apply the principles of intelligence research to analyze, evaluate, and interpret raw data collected from established sources to produce finished intelligence. The candidate will analyze technology/program security vulnerabilities and translate related counterintelligence (CI) analysis into actionable intelligence enabling exploitation opportunities by appropriate law enforcement and CI communities. The candidate will also be responsible for developing and integrating appropriate counterintelligence analysis in support of OUSD Research and Engineering (USD R&E) sponsored Technology Area Protection Plans (TAPPs). The candidate must be able to produce integrated products for the JAPEC Case Manager(s), as well as develop and maintain data in the subject field for the production of reports and assessments.  In addition the candidate may be required to complete quick-turn ad-hoc reports identifying threats to technologies.
