The PRN RN under the direction of the Nurse Manager, utilizes expert skills and knowledge to provide direct population-specific and culturally appropriate patient care through the use of the nursing process based on knowledge of principles of growth and development. Serves as a clinical resource to all staff, participates in patient, staff and resident education, demonstrates leadership, and serves as a preceptor for new staff and students. Functions independently in a creative and interactive manner in addressing/evaluating hospital/clinic issues. Other responsibilities will be assigned as appropriate. Job Grade B
Current license or work permit to practice nursing in South Carolina. Graduate of approved nursing program. RN with proficient level of skills and knowledge. Minimum two years nursing experience preferred. OB/GYN experience preferred.
