This position is currently offering a $3,000 bonus   *Applicants must be able to pass criminal background check*
Location: Methuen, MA. Adolescent Male Program "Bright Futures".  Schedule: This position is Full-time, 40 hours. We have openings for all shifts (7:00am-3:30pm, 3:00pm-11:30pm, and overnight 11:00pm-7:30am). Schedules are typically either Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday. Pay rate: $19.00-$21.00/hour

  Qualifications: 

• Must have experience working with at-risk adolescent males.
• Ability to interact professionally with clients and staff required
• Demonstrated qualities that evidence maturity, effective communication, listening and problem-solving skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

The Juvenile Correctional Officer or "Recovery Specialist I" is responsible for: 

• Ensuring residents are provided with a safe and secure environment by following the policies and procedures of the program and demonstrating a positive, responsible, and respectful presence on the unit.

Funded by the Massachusetts Department of Youth Services, Bright Futures is a youth-centered, family-focused residential substance abuse treatment program adolescent males. Utilizing a strengths-based, trauma-informed, individualized approach, Bright Futures teaches youth the skills necessary to maintain drug-free, pro-social lifestyles.
