Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center is a 133-bed facility that provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services including emergency, women's services, orthopedic, cardiac care and behavioral health services. Our surgical services include robotic-assisted technology, allowing our surgeons to operate with the tiniest incisions and with greater vision, precision and control.

Manage day to day operations of assigned units, ensuring decisions, actions, and group performance contributes to the achievement of the unit, department and hospital's goals and mission.
Ensures staff orientation and competencies in units of practice.
Pursues own professional growth and development.
Provides opportunity for employee development.
Promotes unit budgetary and management principles.
Serves as coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care is provided.
Ensures Family Centered Care is provided in the department.
Assumes 24/7 accountability for the units within Critical Care Services.

Required - Associates degree
Required - Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Preferred - BSN degree or currently enrolled in BSN program.
Required - Current licensure as an RN in Virginia or multi-state compact license with eligibility to practice in Virginia.
Required - Current certification as an AHA BLS Healthcare Provider, current ACLS certification.
Preferred - Current certification in specialty field.
Required - Two years of experience as RN with demonstrated proficiency leadership and management skills.
Required - Two years of experience as an RN in a charge nurse role.
Preferred - Previous management experience.
