St. Luke's Health System is growing and seeks a BC/BE Rheumatologist to join our team of dedicated and compassionate patient-centered providers in Boise and Meridian, ID (Treasure Valley). The ideal candidate will join a mature, busy practice comprised of physicians and APPs, and work in both our Boise and Meridian clinics. The typical patient population will be made up of adults, but there could be an opportunity to see the occasional pediatric patient if interested.
Typical days consist of new patients, follow-ups, joint injections, interpreting labs and imaging, and collaborating care between multiple providers and specialties. Full time consists of 32 direct patient care hours per week, 46 weeks per year.We use Epic as our EHR and offer robust IHT support. Boise/Meridian with reasonable call schedule. Our Boise rheumatology clinic has a lab imbedded inthe clinic, is attached to the rehab hospital withDXAand imaging and access to a virtual PharmD. Our Meridian rheumatology clinic has a lab imbedded in the clinic, an in-person PharmD and is attached to the hospital and access toDXA and imaging. Musculoskeletal ultrasoundcapability is also available.
The ideal physician candidate will havea desire to work with andsupervise PA/NPs in practice, embracesthe culture of yes and ateam player. There is opportunity for a leadership role in 2-3 years.
