We are looking for an accomplished organizational design practitioner to help us in leading the next gen OD/OE practices to transform how we work. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead end-to-end OD efforts from organizational assessment to design and implementation in partnership with business unit executives, their teams, and partner resources business partners.
We are seeking those with a deep understanding and interest in the ways system design enables organizational strategy and brings applied experience in designing organizational systems, inclusive of lateral networks, core structures, processes, team effectiveness, talent and organizational capability.
As an organizational design strategy lead, you will be responsible for:
• Designing, facilitating, and implementing targeted transformative solutions for our most complex organizational design problems; implementing critical structures, such as operating models, organization structures and reporting relationships, etc., that enable the partner and leader mindset and behavior shifts needed to deliver our business strategy and new desired ways of working.
• Solving org-wide culture shifting issues by artfully crafting novel, leading-edge organizational design and effectiveness solutions balancing the interests of the organization with the interests of our partners; developing solutions that will endure over time and may push other organizations to follow our lead.
• Evolving our comprehensive organizational design and effectiveness philosophy, framework, and toolkit, pushing towards solutions with elegant simplicity that will effectively solve the problem at hand and continue to elevate our culture while balancing what's best for the business with what's best for our partners.
• Working cross-functionally and in close partnership with the business unit leaders, their teams, and Partner Resources to develop and implement integrated Org Design initiatives.
• Identifying and collaborating with qualified external consultants as needed, monitoring and managing their work.
• Analyzing and evaluating interdependencies and their impacts to the OD/OE engagements. Based on evaluation, you will be responsible for recommending interventions or changes to address the needs.
• Shaping metrics and practices to measure the ongoing effectiveness of OD/OE solutions and interventions, providing a point of view on what the indicators will be when it's time to evolve the solution.
We'd love to hear from people with:
• 15+ years' experience in a combination of human resources, organizational development & effectiveness, consulting, coaching, leadership development, I/O psychology, or related field
• Established Org Design practitioner with demonstrated skill and experience working on large scale Org Design and Org Effectiveness engagements with significant change leadership elements and delivering behavioral transformation, 8 years
• Experience designing strategy and executing broad and deep OD/OE plans, 8 years
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity, challenge paradigms to create solutions that haven't existed before, and manage through a multitude of differing opinions and passion from leaders, 8 years
• Strong systems thinking, organizational design, and organizational effectiveness skills, seeking to understand the interconnectedness of the organizational system and ability to select the optimal levers to pull to drive desired outcome(s)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills within multiple complex environments and teams who may have diverse viewpoints and need states
• Ability to apply industry experience and “next practice org design and org effectiveness” thinking
• Ability to build strong relationships, quickly, with a variety of different thinkers and functions
• Ability to form and lead cross-functional teams through design efforts, inclusive of facilitating diverse perspectives to align on a path forward
• Foundational understanding of organizational health indicators
• Organizational development degree, certification and/or experience required
• Human Centered Design certification/experience preferred

The pay range for this position may be narrower than that displayed, depending on where the work is performed
If you live in the greater Seattle area, we offer a flexible workplace that allows for hybrid work. Partners can work remotely up to 2 days per week and leverage the office 3 days per week, on average.
