Our experienced staff of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Social Workers, Mental Health Specialists, Parent Partners and other therapists/counselors provide case management, mental health care and a range of support services in our outpatient clinics and 24/7 treatment facilities, and in community settings such as schools and homes. The LVN / LPT provides direct client care including the administration of medications, including injections. Engages clients and families to assess and diagnoses physical health status. Formulates and implements an effective nursing care plan understanding psychiatric illness and its treatment as appropriate for Scope of Practice. Demonstrates an understanding of age related development and other issues for the population(s).

Successfully completing a pre-employment Health Screening and a TB clearance
Receipt of “clear” or approved Live Scan results and Criminal Background Clearance
NEW GRADS WELCOME - Graduation from an accredited school of licensed vocational
nursing or psychiatric technology required.
Associate's degree, preferred.
One (1) year service experience treating the mentally ill in an inpatient setting, preferred.
One (1) year medication administration experience, preferred.
License or Certification
Valid California LVN or LPT license.
Current CPR certification.
First Aid certification from persons qualified by agencies including but not limited to the American Red Cross.
Ability to visually and audibly assess client's behavior and needs.
Ability to stand for long periods of time preparing and administering medications.
