POSITION SUMMARY:

The Surgical Services Aide works under the supervision of the Supervisor, Director or Manager of the area they are working in and performs delegated and assigned functions. Duties include but not limited to: stocking of supplies, cleaning and remaking each gurney after each patient use, stocking the oxygen tanks, refilling of blanket warmers, stocking supplies per established par levels, and rotating items per protocol. The Aide will assist in cleaning of equipment and turning over operating room between cases and at the end of the day.

Requires individual to be self- directed, the ability to learn new roles and multi-task.  Complies with hospital employee health, infection control, and safety management programs.
