The Integrated Warfare Systems Group's (IWSG) focus is to provide engineering, technical, and programmatic support to the Navy's Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS). Current efforts supporting PEO IWS include overarching program management, test and evaluation, systems engineering, operations analysis, systems integration, international, cybersecurity, IT network and programmatic support for advanced radar, phased array radar, electronic warfare, electro-optic, advanced off-board electronic warfare/decoy and directed energy programs.
IWSG has a near term need for an experienced Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition Analyst.
We are seeking an experienced DoD Acquisition Analyst with an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance to provide acquisition and engineering support to the PEO IWS 2.0 Advanced Radars (AN/SPY-6) Program Managers. SPY-6 is the U.S Navy's family of radars that perform air and missile defense slated for install on seven classes of ships. Your roles and responsibilities will include advising Program Managers on programmatic and technical topics ensuring more informed decision making, maintaining detailed integrated system development and production schedules, coordinating inputs for field activities, laboratories and other stakeholders across PEO IWS, PEO Carrier, PEO Ships; and developing technical and acquisition documentation.
The IWSG office is located at 20 M Street in Southeast DC, conveniently down the street from our clients at the Washington Navy Yard. Daily onsite client support at the Navy Yard is expected to aid in the highest quality support. Little to no travel is expected in this position.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other related technical degree
- 5+ years of Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition Program Office experience
- Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance
- Some unique skill or knowledge to help a Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition Program Office (e.g., phased array radar expertise, Model-Based Systems Engineering, DevSecOps, Agile methodologies, Design Of Experiment, statistics, Modeling & Simulation)
- US Navy or radar experience
