The Integrated Warfare Systems Group's (IWSG) focus is to provide engineering, technical, and programmatic support to the Navy's Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS). Current efforts supporting PEO IWS include overarching program management, test and evaluation, systems engineering, operations analysis, systems integration, international, cybersecurity, IT network and programmatic support for advanced radar, phased array radar, electronic warfare, electro-optic, advanced off-board electronic warfare/decoy and directed energy programs.

We are seeking a Project Lead to provide direct Engineering Support Services (ESS) to the U.S. Navy PEO IWS 2.0 Decoys Principal Assistant Program Manager (PAPM). We are looking for a candidate with DoD Acquisition Program Office related skills and experience to begin in late summer / early fall of 2020 timeframe.
Your talents will be put to work in providing project and program management support for the procurement, platform integration, installation, and sustainment of Decoys and Advanced Off-board Electronic Warfare (AOEW) programs. This includes coordination with Decoys and IWS 2.0 Functional PAPMs, such as Product Support, Technical/Engineering, Plans and Programs, and Test and Evaluation as required to support program planning, budgeting, analysis, and reporting.
You will supervise, review and coordinate the work of a diverse team of engineering, technical, and programmatic support personnel as well as providing accurate estimation and execution of manpower needs, budgeting, scheduling, and assignment of work in order to meet scheduled completion dates. We expect thorough work, attention to detail and complete deliverables to the level of SPA's highest quality standards—delivered on time, error-free, and suitable for the intended purpose.
The IWSG office is located at 20 M Street in Southeast DC, conveniently down the street from our clients at the Washington Navy Yard. 4-5x/week onsite client support at the Navy Yard is expected to aid in the highest quality support.
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8+ years of demonstrated work experience in Program/Acquisition Management in support of DoD Program Manager (PM Office, Program Executive Office (PEO), or equivalent) to include resourcing, acquisition, or contract management experience
- Active DoD Top Secret security clearance
- Graduate degree in business, management, or STEM-related disciplines
- Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification
- Prior service, military, or DoD civilian within any component of the Department of Defense
