Qualifications
- This position requires a Fundamentals of Engineering license or Professional Engineer license with 4+ years experience.
- General knowledge of roadway design documentation for public infrastructure projects in the State of Georgia is preferrable.
- Knowledge MicroStation InRoads design software is required. ORD design software knowledge is preferrable.

Responsibilities
- Perform calculations and analysis for roadway, drainage, and utility projects.
- CADD layout of highway plans and details.
- Compute horizontal and vertical geometry.
- Complete CADD modeling efforts for roadway and drainage design projects.
- Drainage analysis and design.
- Create and produce CADD drawings and details.
- Compose and develop technical reports, letters, and memorandums.
- Quantity take-off and tabulation.
- Review shop drawing submittals.
- Work with MicroStation, Inroads, Open Roads, Microsoft Word, Project, and Excel.
- Direct day to day activities for production staff on various projects.
- Perform out-of-office duties such as project site visits, site inspection and attend meeting.
- Potential roadway and civil design support to be performed on projects in other parts of the Roads + Highways Sector.
