We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager in our Farmingdale, NY office to lead a wide range of projects. 

 

Our offices in New York are comprised of over 75 professionals, working in a highly collaborative environment, focused on public buildings including K-12 schools, regional governmental facilities, and international projects for USAID and other federal agencies. Our overall team of professionals provides innovative architectural design, building systems engineering, interior design, site design, civil design and 3-D Imaging services to clients regionally and globally. Designers engage both proven and innovative building methods and technologies that provide real-world solutions resulting in more efficient and sustainable projects. 

 

Our Farmingdale office is primarily focused on design for K-12 educational facilities. Tetra Tech in New York is both proud and enthusiastic to be the New York region's top education-related A/E design firm with a focus on sustainability. Our showcase projects include multiple assignments for Suffolk County Community College, New Paltz Central School District, and Central Islip and Brentwood Union Free School Districts. Your Role:

  • Manage top-tier client relationships and contracts
  • Manage the financial aspects for a broad range of large multi-phase institutional projects
  • Provide technical and design leadership for some of the industry's top interdisciplinary design teams
  • Mentor junior level professionals, developing satisfying collegial relationships
  • Provide meaningful input to firm leadership regarding excellence in professional, technical, and business practices

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or related
  • 10-15 years of experience working in the design/construction field, with 10+ years of project management experienc3
  • New York State License
  • Experience in K-12 educational facilities strongly preferred
  • Looking for someone with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and enjoys working as a contributing part of a team
