This Position is located in Austin, Texas.

What will you do and, how will you make an impact?

Work with all levels to drive continuous improvements that enable profitable growth, improve quality, elevate the customer and employee experience. This position engages team members to build lean capability and streamline processes. The role involves facilitating and training the lean fundamentals and project funnel development/execution.

A day in the Life:

  • Coach a work center on development of KPI's in the areas of customer, finance, people and quality to measure success of initiatives.
  • Go to Gemba and lead a group to remove waste in a process mapping activity
  • Meet with the finance and project leads to calculate the productivity of initiatives and present to leadership
  • Identify areas of opportunity for improvement/growth and determine the business justification
  • Attend and mentor at a tier meeting followed by improving our methods of communication and data analysis.

How will you get here?


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, operations or business


  • A Strong Lean Practitioner mindset with proven ability and a ‘hands-on' track record of results.
  • Value stream mapping, visual management/5S, Kanban, standard work, metric boards, gemba, stand-up meetings and DMAIC problem solving.
  • Hands-on experience in leading cross functional projects or changes throughout the business
