How will you make an impact?

The Analytical Instruments IT Privacy and Product Security Program Manager is responsible for coordination, program management, and reporting for our related Privacy and Product Security initiatives. You will implement policies, standards, templates / tools and training, nominate and monitor local contacts to participate in information gathering, assessment and remediation efforts required by the programs (e.g. high-risk product reviews). You must manage the monitoring and reporting on progress to compliance, including matrixed reporting into the Privacy and Product Security steering teams. Potential for future extension of the role into other quality or regulatory compliance support activities for IT and innovation projects.

What will you do?

  • Data Privacy
    • Support and act as a program manager in the safeguarding of data under the guidance and direction of company-wide Data Privacy initiatives
    • Manage activity for data privacy requirements and partner with business teams as required
    • Liaise with business teams to identify process gaps and promote data privacy and security
    • Monitoring of data privacy intake process ensuring efficient triage and completion as well as accurate recording of all requests and driving process improvement
    • Alignment and coordination of site Data Privacy leads for AIG
    • Oversight of in-process request monitoring for compliance to regulations within agreed upon time limits and follow up with the responsible teams, escalating as required
    • Workload distribution and direction of data privacy matters for the Data Privacy Analysts
    • Assist where required to design and coordinate internal and external audits of compliance
    • As the program matures manage the planning and execution of the compliance program
  • Product Security
    • Program management activities for the ongoing extension of our security frameworks
    • Work with the Corporate Information Security programs to increase maturity across our security by design concepts within Business IT, Services, and Product Development
    • Coordinate and monitor ongoing security remediation activities within the group
    • Assist Commercial with coordination of activities and contracts

How will you get here?

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of project / program management experience in IT or a related discipline
  • Familiarity with the essentials of privacy practices within a large enterprise
  • Proven leadership ability and collaboration skills; capable of energizing and motivating people to achieve their full potential
  • Demonstrated business process improvement experience
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and process management skills with an emphasis on client satisfaction and business language to gain credibility and support of organizations and people
  • Change agent: ability to identify core issues, set strategic direction based upon the competencies of the organization, and roll out transition plans
  • Strong financial acumen and business case development
  • 10-30% travel (dependent on region) and flexible working schedule

Bonus points for:

  • Prior work in an information security, quality or regulatory compliance, privacy, or a related field
  • Project Management (PMI, Prince, or similar) and/or Agile certifications
  • Familiarity with standard security frameworks such as NIST-CSF, CIS Critical Security Controls, ISO2700x
  • Proven experience working in global cross-cultural projects
