Main Function: Assists with clinical and clerical tasks that facilitate flow of patients and health information for the medical record of Associates and volunteers.. Works collaboratively with registered nurse, LPN and medical providers. Responsible for maintaining inventory of medical-surgical supplies.

Required Job Specific Competencies: Demonstrates proficiency in use of Windows-based PC software including Word, Excel, Systoc. Knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to tailor one's approach to the patient according to the customer's age-specific needs. Demonstrates the ability to work independently and exhibits flexibility in decision making and prioritizing assignments. Demonstrates the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers. Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information including but not limited to the patients, staff and the health system. CPR, DOT and non-DOT urine drug collection, PPD, immunization administration skills. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient.

Qualifications:(Licenses, Certifications)

    • Required: RN Licensure
  • Education:
    • Required: High school graduate or equivalent. Completion of accredited school program leading to NYS licensure to practice as an RN.
  • Experience:
  • Prefer minimum of two years experience in outpatient and/or occupational health setting. Use proper grammar, accurately spell words and understands medical terminology.
