Partner with leaders in their assigned Line of Business, Risk/Compliance/Audit (RCA) Consultants, and other RCA Managers to oversee the successful creation, implementation, and maintenance of an effective risk management framework. Lead projects and/or activities that ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Facilitate the identification of gaps and drive solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems or human errors. Ensure the active identification, response and/or escalation of risks, as appropriate. May influence policies and procedures to maximize profit potential and minimize regulatory exposure. Accountable for an effective partnership with the Business Line and with the other Lines of Defense.

The Control Development Team Analyst supporting Technology will be responsible for:

• Partnering with the line of business to identify, develop, and document its processes, risks and controls

• Understanding the relevant compliance requirements and authoritative sources that govern the line of business

• Being a liaison and advisor between Control Development and the process/control owners to form an effective, trusted partnership

• Maintaining the control environment through a formal change management process

• Representing Control Development in other risk management processes (Risk and Control Self-Assessment, Issues Management, Business Changes, etc)

• Proactively identifying issues and escalating to Senior Management for disposition


Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Seven to ten years of applicable experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

- One or more applicable certifications (CISA, CPA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CGEIT, CSSP, etc.)

- Considerable knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact Technology and Information Security

- Considerable knowledge of the business line's operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls

- Advanced knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies

- Internal or External Audit Experiences

- Strong leadership and management skills of processes, projects and people

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills

- Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
