Description

Elan Advisory Services is a group within the U.S. Bank Payments Division who interacts with banks and credit unions in an attempt to uncover relationship opportunities with those financial institutions. Manages a team of Elan Service Advisors who are responsible for sales and new business development with the U.S. Financial Institution channel, potentially focused on a primary market (bank or credit union). Sets and manages the sales strategies for their teams in credit cards, ATM/debit, merchant, corporate payment systems, or mortgage. Guides and helps the sales team create pipeline strategies based on the analysis for the financial institution market. Meets with senior bankers at financial institution clients and prospects and represents U.S. Bank in a professional manner. Hires, trains, motivates and provides daily management to the team of Payment Advisors.



Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- 10 or more years of financial sales experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

- Experience working with or in the Credit Union industry
- Thorough knowledge of product marketing, client service issues and organization operations
- Thorough knowledge of banking products/services, banking operations, and current market trends
- Demonstrated new business development and relationship management skills
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Well-developed customer service/relations skills
- Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
