Description

The Alternative Investment Team is responsible for the oversight and support of Alternative Investments held in Wealth Management & Investment Services accounts of various sizes established by clients for various purposes. The team provides line item reporting for clients' externally managed alternatives resulting in consolidated A.I. reporting on U.S. Bank's monthly statement package for clients and their stakeholders. Serves as the primary contact and subject matter expert for the reporting and processing of alternative investments, delivering a high level of customer service. Alternative Investment types supported by the A.I. Team include Hedge Funds, Private Capital, Collective Trusts, Commingled Funds, and other non-marketable hard to value assets. Oversees work processed A.I. Team specialists to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Ensures compliance with governing agreements, regulatory and legal requirements, and procedural guidelines. Identifies and executes opportunities to create capacity and efficiencies. Regularly interacts with clients, both internal business partners and external, focusing on current and changing needs of the client. Performs comprehensive quality review to ensure accurate reporting. Prioritizes reporting que based on specific client SLAs and cash requests

Qualifications


Basic Qualifications


  • Associate's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Two or four years of experience in institutional trust and/or financial industry


Preferred Skills/Experience


  • Thorough knowledge of investment products and services.
  • Basic understanding of alternative investments including hedge funds, private equity, and other non-marketable assets
  • Thorough knowledge of account management, trust operations, project management, and legal regulations
  • Experience working directly with external clients
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently and meet established deadlines in a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
