Description

U.S. Bank is currently seeking a Marketing Manager for its Consumer Lending and Mortgage business. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for crafting and executing marketing strategies that activate connected, cohesive, customer-centric marketing experiences to drive customer growth and retention. This leader will drive awareness, consideration, and conversion for the Bank's mortgage and lending offerings, with the ultimate goal of generating qualified customer leads through an omni-channel approach across paid, earned, and owned media channels. In addition, he/she will create and execute strategies for fostering engagement and retention of existing customers.

This role will partner closely with mortgage and lending product teams, corporate marketing teams, omni-channel teams, and agencies to translate priority business objectives into marketing strategies that will enable U.S. Bank to address dynamic market conditions and customer needs while meeting bottom-line growth goals. Additional responsibilities include:
• Drives and executes marketing strategies at the enterprise, market/branch, and initiative levels to achieve defined business objectives;
• Builds marketing plans and initiatives in service of the customer;
• Collaborates with cross-functional team of marketers, product teams, data scientists, insights partners, creative teams, and more, providing strategic leadership and alignment toward objectives;
• Effectively and holistically uses customer insights, competitive intelligence, and data/analytics to translate business goals into marketing strategies;
• Shepherds creative process to ensure all marketing creative and communications deliver connectivity, consistency, and customer focus;
• Connects the customer experience across touchpoints, including digital and retail (field/branch);
• Measures and analyzes results of marketing programs, refining and optimizing accordingly; and
• Contributes to an environment of problem solving, collaboration, creativity, support, consulting, and partnership.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
• Six or more years of related experience in marketing and marketing strategy with proven ability to deliver results

Preferred Skills/Experience
• Proven experience creating and leading the execution of integrated marketing programs, leveraging customer insights and data to inform plans and drive decisions
• Experience leveraging digital channels to connect with customers with the right message at the right time
• Demonstrated leadership, diplomacy, and ability to gain buy-in from diverse teams
• Proven track record of problem solving and strategic thinking
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, matrixed environment, effectively prioritizing based on business objectives
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to shepherd cross-functional teams to bring programs to market on time and on budget
• Capable of working independently and taking ownership of projects
• Curiosity and creativity grounded in strategic mindset
• Understanding, interest, and expertise in the financial services industry
